The Freehold Liquor Shop and Public-house was offered for sale by the proprietor, Thursday 10th March 1853.
Having a frontage of 42 feet to White Lion Street, the house contained, Liquor Shop, Bar, Porter-room, Kitchen, Cellar, Yard and Offices, Private Entrance and Stair-case, four Sleeping-rooms and Attic, in occupation of Mrs. Aldhouse.
Adjoining the Tavern being a Shop, with large Sitting-room over and two Sleeping-rooms.
Being a short distance from the Market, must command, with improved management, a considerable increase in Market Day Trade.

House possibly closed following this sale.
