The only house in Gt. Yarmouth to be reprimanded by the magistrates in
September 1852, for misconduct.
Mr. Richard Wilson advertised April 1908 that the Entire House was under
his new management and offered Wines & Spirits of the finest quality,
Cigars of the choicest brands, Billiards, a Spacious Club Room to let
and that Clubs and Parties were catered for.
Closed
after March 1971.
Demolished 1972.
On Monday 29th August 1859, fisherman Edward Key was in
the Fish Stall and about to light his pipe. He slipped and fell, falling
with his left leg under him, breaking both bones between ankle and knee. |
