Thursday 12th January 1843 - James Last was fined 20s and 10s costs, for having sold 28lbs of unwholesome meat to Dodman Balls. The meat was condemned and publicly burnt. Address as North Entrance 1845. Conveyed 23rd August 1845 by Samuel Paget & Others to George Morse, Timothy Steward, Peter Finch and Henry Staniforth Patteson. Became the HORSE & GROOM according to S&P records. (First found as such in 1846) |
