At the Brewster Sessions 24th August 1901, Lacons applied for removal of licence to a proposed new house at Press's Estate at Southtown.
This was reported as the 3rd such application.

The Committee recommended the application,
but the Bench refused it.

Notice to surrender licence given Friday 6th March 1903.

The licence was given up (Along with that of the NORWICH ARMS.) 18.11.1904 in favour of a new full licence for the NORTH TOWER, North Quay.
