Address as Baxter Street in 1773. On Thursday 1st December 1803 the Colour was presented to the All Saints South Lynn Loyal Volunteers, commanded by J. Middleton. The Banner under which they should rally on the Day of Battle carried the Town Arms and the words For King and Country'. Following the ceremony the Colour was deposited at the Captain's house and the whole adjourned to the Unicorn Inn where an excellent dinner was provided...... They left at a late hour. 7th February 1838 - Mr. J. Rolin thanked his Friends for their Patronage since he had taken the Inn On the evening of 31st December 1840 the Lynn Auxiliary Conservative Society held their Anniversary Meeting here. Mirth harmony and good fellowship prevailed and on the following day several of the party re-assembled to welcome in the New Year with hilarity and social glee.
