Petty Session Repots Downham - Monday - A PUBLICAN FINED.

John Wm. Berridge, landlord of the Ship Defiance, Downham West, was summoned for keeping his house open during prohibited hours on 3rd October, and Elijah Wortley and George Porter, labourers, of Downham West, were summoned for being on the premises.
P.c. Durrant proved the case.
The landlord said he was sorry, was fined 20s with 4s costs. Wortley and Porter pleaded guilty, and were fined 6s 6d each
