At the Petty Sessions held Monday 30th August 1875 it was heard that the
Marquis Townshend had already closed the house. (As all others he owned in
the neighbourhood).
Appears to have ceased trading alcohol by 1875.
Frederick Woods as described as farmer in 1877 and died during the second
quarter of 1879. His wife Mary is given as a farmer in 1879 followed by (son?) Frederick 1881 - 1883.
John Gregory is at White Horse Farm, Station Road 1891 and at 16 Pump Street
in 1901.
In 1911 the address of John Gregory appears to be White Horse, Pump Square.
