TRUE COMRADES, Bedford Street, Norwich.

Modernised in 1954 and again in 1969 when the lounge bar was extended to three times its original size. Inside lavatories were built and central heating installed.
A microwave oven installed to serve fast food.
The lounge bar, known as the Robin Hood lounge "is particularly bright and gay with green carpets, blue furniture, red curtains and natural wood panelling."

The menu in 1969 included :-

Robin Hood starter of soup with crispy roll and butter - 1/6 (7.5p)

Maid Marion Platter, meats from cold buffet
(serve yourself salad & pickles) - from 4/6 (22.5p)

Friar Tuck hot dishes, including creamed potatoes and two vegetables,
