On Tuesday 6th May 1806, the Estate, comprising the
Manor of Fring, abounding with game, with the Quit Rents, Fines and
Tolls of the Fairs, 1,506 Acres of Fertile Meadow, Pasture and Arable
Land, lying entirely within a ring fence, a Dwelling House called Fring
Hall, a Public House and sundry Cottages, were to be
Sold by Auction at Garraway's Coffee-House, Change Alley, Cornhill,
London.
Also included were the Parsonage of Fring with Farm-house, Barn,
Stabling and the Great and Small Tythes of the Township, containing
1,680 Acres of Glebe held by the Dean and Chapter of Norwich at a small
Quit Rent.
The whole of the Premises in occupation of Mr. John Whiting on a lease
expiring Michaelmas 1809, at the very low rent of only £1,100 per annum.
