1871, 1879, 1883,1904,1912, 1925.

On Monday 7th February 1910 it was reported that of the four houses in Hindringham, one was certainly not required and it should be either the CROWN, which only served one road, or the FOLGATE which was well placed, should close. The latter was said to have better accommodation, so it was recommended that the CROWN should close. Both in fact survived to the 1920's.

House closed 1st December 1924 following the tenant, Mr. Francis, having given notice and a new tenant appointed.  Influenza had then prevented the new tenant from taking over. At the annual Licensing Meeting of Monday, 2nd February 1925, the Chairman said that a new licence would not be considered  until the next meeting and then the license would probably be referred altogether.

Referred for Compensation 15th July 1925

Licence expired 5th December 1925
