Mrs. Harvey died Wednesday 28th September 1887, being found dead in a
downstairs room at 3:30 am. Witnesses described her as being intoxicated
the previous evening. Although bruised, this had not been the cause of
death. George Taylor M. D. concluded that exhaustion due to lying in an
unattended state, after the effect of the drink, had been the cause. She
was 66 years old.
The Jury deliberated for 40 minutes and returned an open verdict.
