Mr. J. Skiffins announced 14th February 1795 that he had taken the Inn. The same notification offered the BLACK BOYS, Holt to be available for Immediate Let.

Thomas Black was examined for bankruptcy, as reported 25th October 1905. His deficiency was £191 6s 3d. Bullards brewery had seized (some of) his outdoor effects to settle his debt with them.
On 15th November 1905 it was announced that Intended Dividends would be paid on 29th November.
