1905, T. H. Bryant wrote:-
`There was formerly a public house at Kimberley Park Gate, near the
church, called the Kimberley WILD MAN.'
In 1836 a
Wild Man is identified the adjoining village of Wicklewood and
it was operating until the 1960s. Is it the same establishment?
Unfortunately Mr. Bryant did not give a source for his information. |
