As advertised to be sold on Monday 20th June 1831.
Location given as near Bishop Bridge, in the hamlet of Thorpe, a Complete Brewery and Public-House. A Capital well-built, Brick and Tile Dwelling-House called the BREWERS ARMS, complete with Brewery, Stable and yard adjoining River, in occupation of Thomas Gooch under a lease for a term of 12 years from Michaelmas last, at annual rent of £35.

Location appears to be same as later BISHOP BRIDGE INN.


Thomas Gooch, Lace Maker and Publican assigned his assets to Haberdasher John Michael Bray by an Indenture dated 2nd July 1833 for the benefit of his Creditors.
