| The "White" beer guide
of 1977 records:- A Free House. Adnams - Bitter on handpump. Bass Charrington - Bass on handpump. Greene King - Abbot on handpump. Paines - E.G. on handpump. The ex Morning Star (a Courage keg palace) has been refurbished and reopened 1976. A shade on the expensive side, but the beer is well kept and the service is usually good......... |
