In 1783 Samuel Barker is given as a licensee, apparently selling beer at 21, St Giles Street.

On 18th September 1790, Mary Barker advised the friends and customers of her late husband, `that the business will be carried on as usual at the BRANDY VAULTS, in the Market Place, Norwich, where all favours will be thankfully received and gratefully acknowledged. N.B. The Raison Wine Trade continued by Mrs. Brooke as usual.'
