In April 1796 it was advertised that a Large quantity of Suffolk Grass Seed was available for sale on the lowest terms, at Daniel Town's, Upper Goat Lane, Norwich.

Rebecca Whitworth accused Daniel Town of violently assaulting her on 25th March 1813.
The attack was apparently due to some expressions she had used which had been overheard. Mrs Sarah Town had also been accused of assisting in the assault.
In defence it was said that Mrs Whitworth was an abusive and troublesome woman.
Charges against Mrs Town were dropped but Daniel Town was fined 1s and committed to one month's imprisonment.

On Monday 4th March 1816, four excellent tenements, situated in Goat Lane, St Gregory, were to be sold by auction. One was in occupation of Daniel Town.

On 28th October 1823 a two-stalled stable in Upper Goat Lane, in occupation of Mr. Daniel Town, was to be sold by auction. This being part of the main lot, which consisted of a Chandling Office in occupation of Mr. Peter Chamberlain.

Mrs Town, wife of Mr. Daniel Town of St. Gregory's died Sunday 4th March 1821 - age 67.
