Originally in the Licence Register as the BULL.

Listed 1868 as the BULL & ROYAL EXCHANGE CHOP HOUSE.

An application was made Saturday 22nd August 1891, by Alfred Levett, for a music and singing licence in order that members of a beneficial society could be accommodated periodically in the club-room. The Chief Constable said the sanitary accommodation was excellent. Licence granted.

Signs seen in 1911 read `R. HOODS WINE & SPIRIT STORES'.

Provisional removal of licence to a new house at the corner of Junction Road and Shorncliffe Road (The LACON ARMS) declared final 28th November 1922.

Demolished.
