The Brewery Estate of Joseph Tomlinson, Esq. was offered For Sale by Auction, Wednesday 23rd August 1871.

Lot. 1 - An old-established Nine-quarter Brewery, with Yard, Stable and Coach-house attached, situated in Howard Street, Yarmouth, with the most approved plant in complete working order, and for which for upwards of Fifty Years, a large brewery business carried on.

Lot. 2 - An old-established Liquor Shop in Howard Street, with Newly erected Dwelling-house attached, in which for many years a most lucrative wholesale and retail wine and spirit trade  carried on by Mr. Tomlinson.
(Sold for £3,000 to the Norwich Wine Company)

Lot 3. - A substantially erected recently built 28 Coomb malting in the rear o9f the house, in Row 63.
