William Pratt of the Magdalen Street Brewery offered his Ale:- Made from Malt and Hops Alone! X Ale 12d per gallon (1½d a pint) XX Ale 20d per gallon (2½d a pint) XXX 2s 4d per gallon (3½d a pint)
